Turquoise Tuesday...

.

Hello, dear friends, and Happy Turquoise Tuesday
I hope you're having a beautiful day...

Today's feature is just plain fun girl stuff.  Blatant feminine beauty.
From some of my favorite artists.
I think this little ensemble would look perfect all together, don't you?

We have the grit and sparkle combined with vintage components

The fabulous versatility and sexiness of FantasyWorldHeroes' snowskirt,
complete with turquoise lining.

And last, but certainly not least, the enchanting and magical cookoorikoo ring,
also made with vintage components.

I want all three! Le sigh...

Are these items fabulous or what?  I'm in love with them!

So.  What do you have planned for the Thanksgiving holiday?
Whatever your plans may be, I hope your day is filled with love and laughter,
and I hope you make many happy memories.

We're having both families here for the holiday.
It's been a few months since we've done that.
Father's Day, to be exact.
I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone, and having lots of delicious food.
I'm also looking forward to doing lots of baking before the big day.

I love to bake...

Thank you so much for dropping by, lovely friends.
I'm very thankful that you did...xo

Dear cookoorikoo...

Dearest cookoorikoo,

Thank you for creating this yo-yo necklace.  The Partly Sunny Necklace is everything and then some!  Partly Sunny is my sunshine.

I love this latest addition to my cookoorikoo collection, and I wear it all the time.

I do believe you are quite brilliant.  Thank you for being you.

Much love, sunshine and yo-yos...
me

xoxo

Turquoise Tuesday...

Happy Turquoise Tuesday, darling friends! My beautiful brother, a.k.a. the one and only Brock Street, gave me this week's theme idea. Of course, he always inspires me. Today's focus is on neck wear. Now, as you may have guessed, it was sheer torture once again this week trying to narrow down my choices. I went with a variety of styles, but will naturally have to return to this subject in the future. There are just too too many gorgeous necklaces with some sort of turquoise composition. Swoon....

For this week, I found six amazing, gorgeous, fun, and feminine pieces that I hope you will enjoy gazing at...

What do you think? Aren't they all scrumptious? Can't you see yourself wearing one of these beauties with a flirty spring or summer frock? Truly, they would be the perfect adornment for your wardrobe. Great for a summer vacation, or just kicking around town.

I hope you enjoyed this week's turquoise feature. I certainly enjoyed finding these...with the exception of the Old Navy necklace which my brother found for me (the starting point for this week's theme).

Thank you so much for dropping in, lovelies. I always get such a joy out of reading your comments.

I wish you a beautiful, terrific Tuesday, filled with little wonders and bursts of happiness...xo

Level 11 Exists...

My dear friend, Shana of cookoorikoo, got me hooked on a computer game called Amagurumi Farm. Whenever I have a few minutes to spare on the computer I play this addictive little game. She once said she wasn't sure it went past Level 10 so this post is for you, Shana. Level 11! I took a screenshot as proof...Woohoo!

Am I Blue...?

Yes, I am blue. In the most happy sense of the word. I thought that my newest Just-Say-Yes Ensemble would be in the best of company with these two beautiful pieces of jewelry. The sexy, swingy delta blues earrings are from Kateri of urban legend , and the posy perfect spring bouquet ring is by Shana of cookoorikoo, two of my very favorite people.

Today...

...Today I'm wearing two of my favorite things. The vintage buckle is a gift from Kateri of Leaves of Glass and the ring is from Shana of cookoorikoo. Two amazing friends who happen to be exceptional artists as well. How lucky am I?
♥ Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! ♥

One of each, please.....

Etsy has so many incredibly talented artists from the fashion world....Here are some samples of the creations I am absolutely longing to own.
