The Uniform Project - A Pilot Series...

.

Hello and Happy Wednesday, lovely friends!  Have you heard about the latest and very exciting new Pilot Series on The Uniform Project site?  As you may know, I've been a big fan of Sheena's since the beginning.  The creative people behind The Uniform Project are now featuring month-long series, each month a chosen individual will wear the same garment every day and hopefully raise much-needed funds for their particular cause.

This month it's the beautiful India.  Her cause: Blair Grocery School in New Orleans.  What a worthwhile cause!  And would you just look at this lovely woman...

I hope you will cheer India on, and with lots of love and compassion, she may be able to raise a substantial amount of funds for her extra special cause.  Even the smallest donation makes a difference.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit me.  I hope your day is a beautiful one...xo

The Uniform Project (and me)...

I'm so honored to have my Wallflower Brooch on The Uniform Project. Sheena is wearing it as a very chic hat and it makes me all kinds of happy. Doesn't she look amazing and beautiful?

Exciting news! For the entire month of December, any donations you make to The Uniform Project will be doubled! All that's wanted for the holidays is 175 kids in school.

Check out some of my other blog posts about The Uniform Project, and thank you so much for taking time out of your day to visit...xo

As Seen on The Uniform Project...

As you probably already know, I’m a huge fan of The Uniform Project. I’ve written several posts about it. I was so moved by the idea behind this project, that I sent several Fringe items to them as donations, including this El Grande Cowl and a flower brooch. I’m so honored and truly thrilled to share with you Day 179, a.k.a. Lil' Red Riding Prude and Day 203, a.k.a. Cowl Play…Yay!

Sheena has raised over $30,000 for her very worthy cause. I can feel the love, can't you?

Thank you so much for stopping by, dear ones...xo

The Uniform Project...

This is my third post about The Uniform Project. I can't help it, it's such a wonderful project. If you missed my other two posts, you can read the first one here and the second one here.

Here are some of my favorite outfits from August....

The Leggings!

If you're not familiar with The Uniform Project, please check out the site as well as my previous post in June about it. It's a most worthwhile project by the delightful Sheena Matheiken.

I had to post about Day 69's fabulous ensemble. The leggings! I'd kill for them. I love everything about this outfit. Doesn't she look chic and amazing?

I'm sure this won't be my last post about The Uniform Project. I find it mesmerizing. Go Sheena!

The Uniform Project...

The most brilliant idea. The Uniform Project is one woman's idea, namely designer Sheena Matheiken, to wear the same dress for 365 days as a way to challenge our traditional ideas of what fashion really is all about. I'm so impressed by this concept.

Also, she is raising money for a most excellent cause, the Akanksha Foundation. I would like to shout this from the rooftops, and I may still do that, but common sense told me to try getting this fabulous story out via my blog.

Below are my favorite outfits thus far in June. Please visit The Uniform Project and find out all the details about Ms. Matheiken's endeavor...
