Turquoise Tuesday...

Happy Turquoise Tuesday, dear friends! Today's theme is vintage. Personally, vintage is one of my very favorite things. So it only seems natural to combine turquoise with vintage, right? I found all of these fabulous pieces on Etsy. I would love one of each...especially the typewriter...

Vintage can be old, worn, rusted and busted, or sleek, chic and oh so sophisticated. Or somewhere in between. Whatever vintage style you prefer, it's a guarantee that the treasures you find have a history. They have secrets. And for me, they have a great deal of personality.

Vintage Match Holder from Simply Stephy

Vintage Ball Jars from Haven Vintage

Vintage Olivetti Typewriter from Nick and Nessies

Vintage Wooden Rocker from Rhapsody Attic

Vintage Togographical World Globe from South Rose Window

I hope you enjoyed this week's edition. I could have easily made this collection twice as big. A girl really has to practice restraint on Turquoise Tuesday!

Wishing you a terrific, wonderful day!

Thank you so much for visiting, darling dears. You make me smile, and always make my day happier with your comments...xo

Turquoise Tuesday...

Did you think I'd forgotten my Turquoise Tuesday idea after only one week since it's inception? Well, dear ones, I didn't...it just took me a little while to gather the pieces I wanted to feature this week...

The theme for this Turquoise Tuesday is wall art. To me, that doesn't necessarily mean a painting, drawing or photograph, as you will see. I believe we can hang any number of things on our walls and the more unusual, the better. It's what makes our personalities stand out in our home. Home is the best place to showcase our loves, our collections, our interests...no rules apply. Whatever makes you happy and feels right....

Here are a few pieces that I would definitely hang on my walls. I love them all. Some are completely saturated in shades of turquoise, and some have merely a turquoise accent, but all are extra special...

This delightful drawing is by Tush Tush. Reminds me of my boy's first haircut.

Vintage Film Reels found at Sleepy Owl Vintage. I would love to have them hanging on my wall.

This limited edition giclee print by Leah Giberson is titled Seaside. I love the clear crisp colors and the general feel of this scene.

Vintage Ruffled Lace Doily found at Sweet Rice. I bet you wouldn't be surprised to know that I would frame this charming doily and hang it on my wall in a heartbeat.

This fine art by Frances Photography is titled Sea Reflections. This vibrant piece makes me all kinds of happy to look at.

I hope you enjoyed this week's featured items as much as I enjoyed presenting them to you.

Thank you so much, darling dears, for taking time out of your day to come visit. I'm so thrilled that you did…xo
