The Horse's Mane...

.

She was a lonely girl
being raised by an often ill mother.
There was very little money.

She shared her innermost feelings with no one.
Except for a horse named Buttons.

She would spend hours braiding Buttons’ long mane
into the most elaborate styles she could think of.

All the time,
whispering her hopes and fears
into her best friend’s ever-listening, soft, fuzzy ears.

 Rustic prairie
Nostalgia, be still my heart
Gentle tones
Kilt pin

Your creations are scrumptious! I treasure my win from one of your giveaways...must have worn it at least 15 times before the summer started and I plan to wear all fall, winter, and spring long again.

The Cowl is just beautiful D...and I love the little story that goes with it...so sweet & sublime. A booklet carrying these charming tales of yours would be so special, and of course it would have a knitted cover...and maybe even some leather...what do you say?

J! ~ You are such a peach. Honestly. Your thoughts and ideas get my wheels turning. I love the thought of a little collection of Fringe tales. I have more tales waiting patiently for their matching design to be completed...

I'll be dreaming about a book covered in yarn and leather now...xoxo
