Every time my brother comes for a visit, he brings a bag of tricks. This bag consists of all types of wacky hair pieces; wigs, moustaches, eyebrows…all of them very silly. He almost always catches us off guard, walking into the room looking completely ridiculous. It’s all great fun, and my son loves to take part in the goofiness. I guess that’s pretty evident from the photo above which was taken this past week while my brother was visiting…
I wanted this light-hearted photo to be a symbol of my New Year’s wish for you…I hope 2010 is filled with light-hearted laughs, warm and meaningful relationships, the best of health, success and prosperity for all of you. I have some quotes I would like to share with you. Each one a message and perhaps a mantra for the coming year….
Year's end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us.
Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right.
For last year's words belong to last year's language. And next year's words await another voice. And to make an end is to make a beginning.
~T.S. Eliot, "Little Gidding"
One resolution I have made, and try always to keep, is this: To rise above the little things.
I think in terms of the day's resolutions, not the year's. ~Henry Moore
As always, I’m so grateful you stopped by for a visit....xo

Let's Laugh Our Way Through 2010...
That's my boy!
