There is something I'd like to share with you. You may already know this something. A realization I've had fairly recently. It's sort of been in my mind for a long while, but I have only fully and completely understood its meaning in recent months. You may have to go through certain things in your life to be ready to accept and appreciate this simple truth. Perhaps some realize this only after a death or illness has occurred. It sounds simple, but if you think about it deeply, it's very profound. And it's just this...
It's funny how you're always waiting for your life to begin, waiting for that certain something to happen that will shout out to you, "This is it!", when actually "it" is already the life you're living. Right now. You can spend an awfully long time anticipating the arrival of what you've had all along. Like counting the minutes until a special package will arrive, when in reality, it's been sitting on your doorstep all along.
And that's all, a simple thought that can change your entire world.

oh, sweet friend......you are so right. waiting for things to happen while your real life is right in front of you. thank you for the reminder. so many things take our attention away from what really matters and while this is simple it is truly profound. hope you are enjoying your day. xo suz
