Hello, dear hearts. It's been a while, I know. I have a lovely way to get back into the swing of things. A guest post and a collaboration. This is about an artistic collaboration between my dear friend Kateri of Leaves of Glass and myself. The following post was written by multi-talented Kateri, please visit her amazing blog here. I could never put our thoughts into words more beautifully than she.
Dressing Daisy Kutter
written by Kateri Morton
My wonderful friend Dennice makes brilliant, very sexy accessories with the use of yarn and needles. I make very sexy, kind of surprising jewelry with the use of pliers and wire. We share a similar aesthetic and inspirations, and are turned on by classic Hollywood glamour, rusty metal, liquids, Westerns, and accurate spelling. From time to time through our correspondence, our interests come together in a single idea, and we play it out in our two different mediums.
For love of Daisy Kutter, we designed two pieces: a mini vest with vintage lace accents and hardware embellishments by Fringe, and a choker and/or boot cuff in sterling silver, copper and vintage glass by me.
Daisy Kutter Boot Cuff/ Choker by Leaves of Glass
Together, they are perfect.
Both pieces will be listed today in our perspective shops, with more complete descriptiions.
Thank you so much for this post, dear Kateri!
