A lovely day...

Hello, wonderful friends, and Happy Easter! I hope your day is filled with delights....

Things have been hoppin' around here! We colored our eggs last night and had great fun doing them. I think they turned out bright and cheery. The boy was quite creative with his...a jellyfish egg, a pie egg, a Lockness monster egg...Then there are the usual suspects - Big Daddy (made by me) and Hot Mama (made by R)...Lots of laughs!

This morning at 7:30 we had the egg hunt and saw a hummingbird trying to get into one of the bright pink eggs that was hiding on our orange tree branch. Wish I could have snagged a picture of that. R and I wonder if this will be the last year that our boy wants to do an egg hunt. It makes us a bit sad to think it may be. With any luck we can stretch it out a couple more years...

This afternoon we have both sides of our families coming over, and we'll go out to a wonderful brunch at our favorite french restaurant. All in all, it's going to be a lovely day....I hope you all have the best of days today.

Thank you for visiting me...I feel so lucky to have so many sweet friends....xo

Happy Easter! My youngest nephew is 10 yrs old..and he said he is going to keep coloring eggs no matter what! So maybe your son will just keep with tradition! :)
I hope your day was wonderful! We had a very enjoyable time today with family. Can't wait for the hummingbirds to make there way here..we don't see them until the end of May...... Hope your Monday starts off for a grand week ahead!

Okay...just seeing this, but now that I know there was an earthquake involved...I'm thrown for a loop...but that's another comment!

We have little itty-bitty nephews so we'll be able to enjoy the egg hunts for a while yet...here's to another FIVE at least for you all (do I here TEN?);)

Glad you had a wonderful day and the eggs were super cute! xo
