i spy something familiar in the background. :) not familiar with any of these titles, but they sound lovely. i am exactly the same way. currently reading the ann of green gables series, madeleine l'engle's the irrational season, and carol lee flinders' enduring grace: living portraits of seven women mystics.
I usually have several going at the same time as well, but I've been immeresed in the Harry Potter series (for the first time!) and I'm sticking to those very singularly at the moment...only one more to go, then we'll see how I do. Does the 'Teenage Brain' article offer any good advice that might be needed in the future? ;) xo J~
Helen ~ I admit it's a lot of books, but one is a magazine, so it doesn't really count :). Also, one is a reread and the Billy Collins...well, I've read it more times than I can count.
anca ~ I'm glad you noticed the painting :). I have been moving it around the house, deciding where I want it to stay. Currently, it's in my front room, on a table, leaning against the wall. I quite love it there right now. Yet, I think I want it in my office, on the wall...I guess I want it in every room! :)
I am not familiar with your book titles, but I will most definitely check them out! Thank you for sharing, dear heart.
Lovely J ~ I'm embarrassed to admit that I've not read the Harry Potter series. We have the entire series here. I bought it for the boy a while back. He only read the first one, then decided he didn't care for it. Not sure why...I do want to read them, they're on my list!
I haven't read the Teenage Brain article yet either. Sigh. I will let you know if there's anything good tidbits! :)
That is a lot of books to read at one time!
ReplyDeleteI have 2 sometimes 3 going at once.
Enjoy your weekend
Helen xx
